Rev. Dr. Rayfield Gresham is an Associate Minister at St. Luke Baptist Church,
Plum Point, Virginia, serving under the leadership of Pastor, Rev. Dr. Walter J.
Roy, Sr.
He has felt a call on his life for quite some time while singing with his brothers and
mother known as “The Gresham Brothers”. He answered the call to preach the
Gospel and was licensed on August 16, 2015. He was ordained on September 23,
2017.
He received his Doctoral Degree of Theology from the North Carolina Theological
Seminary, Clinton, North Carolina in May 2019.
He is a retired United States Army veteran with over 20 years of service.
He is married to the former Doris Shackleford and together they have three
children and four grandchildren.
His favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13….
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
